Description:
Animation Workshops are a series of courses that teach essential skills about a specific topic within animation. Under the guidance of the instructor, students will engage in rigorous study about a specific subject matter. The goal of Animation Workshops is to produce work that illustrates the skills learned. These courses are open to all CCA students who have completed CORE D1 and 4D.This workshop emphasizes professional techniques for developing visual development materials, with a focus on usage of color and design. Methods for developing color strategies, and the control of color in production, will be emphasized. Design elements include representation of character and environment. The design translation of observed objects and space into two dimensional representations will reinforce the fundamentals of perspective. Students will create characters and environments that explore and support the three-act story structure.
