Description:
Online course sections will be delivered mostly asynchronously, with some synchronous components that will be outlined in the course syllabus if applicable. All class work can be completed remotely, your instructor will work with you to ensure that you have the necessary tools and resources. This workshop emphasizes professional techniques for developing visual development materials, with a focus on usage of color and design. Methods for developing color strategies, and the control of color in production, will be emphasized. Design elements include representation of character and environment. The design translation of observed objects and space into two dimensional representations will reinforce the fundamentals of perspective. Students will create characters and environments that explore and support the three-act story structure.
