This class will discuss the purpose of character sculpting and its placement within the animation preproduction and production pipeline. Emphasis will be placed on basic principles of design such as balance, rhythm, contrast and harmony. This course will teach technique on how to build a clay model from the inside out; paying particular attention to the skeletal and musculature system. The goal of this class is to create unique and appealing clay-sculpted characters. An additional materials fee will be charged.
