Description:
This advanced-topics seminar will explore the conceptual and technical implications of Digital Fabrication, 3d Printing, CNC manufacturing, Robotics and other emerging techniques in architecture and design. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring experimental techniques related to computation and generative design, emerging computer-aided-manufacturing techniques and material explorations. The seminar will explore a variety of applications and scales ranging from furniture, lighting and accessories to building components, landscape elements and more. The final project will include a full-scale physical installation.
