Description:
This course will critically evaluate historical modes of architectural representation through a series of methodological investigations. The disciplinary concerns of contemporary image making will be explored as both a constructive and projective endeavor. We will be making and discussing images through various frameworks - looking at projective drawing via Pier Vittorio Aureli, seamless imaging via Jesus Vassallo, post digital representation via Sam Jacob,KGDVS,among others. This class will serve as an image laboratory, testing the limits of convention and offering up alternate modes of architectural visualization.
