Description:
The seminar will explore the conceptual, creative and technical implications of computational design, digital fabrication and other emerging methodologies in architecture, art and design. Special emphasis will be placed on exploring hybrid experimental techniques related to parametric and generative software, advanced visualization techniques including AR/VR, and material explorations using digital fabrication and 3d printing. The seminar will be structured around a series of topic-based lectures, software and hardware workshops. For the final project students will design, fabricate and install a small full-scale spatial installation.
