Description:

Craft workshops are technical or thematic studio courses that provide opportunities for students to work in an interdisciplinary setting. These courses will have an emphasis on making and contextualizing processes within broad Craft discussions. Concepts and strategies such as expert skill, material study and knowledge, and DIY approaches will be introduced. Advanced workshops will extend these dialogues and practices to economic, political and social contexts. Individual sections will feature readings, slide lectures, videos, gallery and museum visits and other material.
