Description:
A poetry-writing course that will focus on poetry from the thought, to the page, through self-publication. Students will be focusing on the work of established poets, and pursuing in-depth investigations of one poet and one poetry form. Students will write formal non-Western poetry forms (ghazal, bop, senyru, etc.) as well as free verse poetry, and create an individual chapbook or handmade book of their work as a final product.
