Description:
This studio course gives students first-hand experience in bringing a product or service to life. Students are guided by a set of frameworks and best-practices from the innovation, technology, and product management world that lead them through the process of research, insights discovery, idea generation, and iterative experimentation. By the end of this course, students will have taken an innovation through an entire discover-plan-execute cycle from concept to prototype, all the while building and applying foundational knowledge that they can use to develop their careers as design strategists, product designers, and product managers. In addition, students learn to use professional design tools and techniques that will enable them to successfully communicate solutions verbally, visually, and experientially.
