Description:

This interdisciplinary studio bridges Critical Ethnic Studies and emerging AI technologies through a decolonial lens. Students explore how algorithmic systems reproduce histories of empire, anti-Blackness, extraction, and surveillance, and how artists, designers, and storytellers can challenge these logics through creative intervention. Using speculative design, digital storytelling, participatory ritual, and critical making, we engage AI tools not as neutral technologies but as haunted infrastructures infused with colonial memory and contested futures.
