Senior Projects guides students through the production and exhibition of their final senior work in the film program, as well as their final Senior Review presentation. Additionally, students will learn and explore professional practices: including proposal writing, fundraising opportunities, along with distribution, marketing and exhibition strategies. Through the development of the senior thesis project for public presentation, students will develop an understanding of their practice and its place in a larger philosophical, aesthetic, and social discourse of contemporary film. The class will be held in-person, on campus, once per week with asynchronous materials on Moodle to supplement and enhance our live sessions.Hybrid course sections will be delivered both online and in-person. Required online synchronous meeting times are listed as the meeting pattern for this course section. Additional course components will be delivered asynchronously or in-person as outlined in the syllabus.
