This SRL seminar is made up of critiques, writings and studio exercises. The group works closely together to expand individual creative development and studio momentum within the context of a broadly defined painting language. This is open to non-painters as well. Discussions explore content, relevance, execution, and creative goals of studio-based work. Writings focus on, but are not limited to, issues of contemporary painting. Discussions will take place within the studio context, and in response to the issues of the critique group.
