Description:

In Typography 2, students further expand their understanding of typography as a vital element of visual communication. Their primary focus in the class is the development of typographic systems. In recent years, the major project for the class has been the design of a book. Through the book, the organization of information at multiple levels of hierarchy and its relation to imagery is addressed. Emphasis will also be placed on the conceptual/descriptive properties of typography. Projects range in form, content, and duration.
