Description:
This 'lab' based seminar guides students in the development of an individualized research topic and is part of their preparation for a design thesis in architecture. Studies include the graphic and physical analysis of precedents, program, and site as well as exploration of methodologies for data analysis, documentation, representation, and mapping. The course focuses on the development of critical visual arguments through a variety of representational and modeling tools. This seminar is a corequisite with Architecture Research Seminar (ARS). Undergraduates may petition to enroll in this course.
