In this interdisciplinary course, students will envision the future of documentary art and design by exploring creative forms of visualization. With mentorship from instructors, outside experts and journalists, students will research topics that affect people in the Bay Area and create projects through direct engagement with the community. Projects may involve animation, video, drawing, comics, motion graphics, photography, interactive media or any combination thereof. The semester will culminate in a final event and exhibition.
