Description:
Writing Art: True or False. Pablo Picasso once said, "We all know that art is not truth. Art is a lie that makes us realize the truth". During the next fifteen weeks, whether you agree, disagree, or don't know what he is talking about, you will learn how to explore, understand, and express your own views about the relationship between art, truth, and yourself. Your own art, the art of others, both famous and not, readings, video, and other media will be your raw material to develop a new way of thinking and expressing yourself coherently using the art of the written word.
