View Transfer Credits Step by Step Guide
View Transfer Credits to see which units of your originating coursework transferred into CCA requirements. You may do this before or after paying your enrollment deposit. Additional information is in the next few steps of this walk-thru.
- If there is no information on this page (Pre-Enrollment Period), CCA does not have any transfer credit on record for you at this time.
- Once you begin taking classes at CCA, detailed information about your current classes will also display on this screen.
Transfer Credit: CCA course name and number that you have been given credit for, based on the originating coursework you have already completed outside of CCA. Use CCA's Transfer Credit Policies & CCA's Advanced Placement Policies for specific examples of transfer credits.
Originating Coursework: Name and number of originating course you have completed outside of CCA that is equal to a CCA course and counts towards your academic progress. Use CCA Articulation Guidelines for specific examples of originating coursework.
Use 10 Steps for Enrollment to complete steps to enroll at CCA.
1. Log into Workday
a. Go to workday.cca.edu.
b. Log into Workday.
2. View Academics Dashboard
a. Click Academics.
b. Click View My Academic Record.
3. View Transfer Credits from Pre-Enrollment Period
a. Scroll down to Pre-Enrollment Period.
- Review Transfer Credit from Coursework details.
b. View Transfer Credit.
Transfer Credit: CCA course title and number that you have been awarded credit for, based on the originating coursework you have already completed outside of CCA.
- Any college course taken at a different institution (community college or a four-year school). For additional information about college coursework that meets your requirements, visit CCA Articulation Guidelines. For example:
- CCA’s CORES-100 Drawing 1: can be met by specific coursework, such as CCSF’s ART 130A Basic Drawing.
- CCA's CORES-104-2-D course: can be met by specific coursework, such as Berkeley City College’s ART-46-2-D Visual Design
- Pre-college course(s) taken while in high school.
- AP Scores. For additional information about AP credit that meets your requirements, visit Advanced Placement. For example:
- AP Biology: equal to CCA’s Science SCIMA-200 requirement.
- IB Credit. For additional information about CCA’s Transfer Credit Policies, visit Transfer Credit Policies.
c. View Units. CCA is based on a Semester Unit system.
d. View Originating Coursework.
Originating Coursework: Title and number of originating course you have completed outside of CCA that is equal to a CCA course and counts towards your academic progress. For example:
- CCSF’s ART 130A Basic Drawing: equal to CCA’s CORES-100 Drawing 1.
- Berkeley City College’s ART-46-2-D Visual Design: equal to CCA’s CORES-104-2-D course.
