Event description

Berkeley Art Center Co-directors Elena Gross and Kimberley Acebo Arteche, in conversation with resident artist Angelica Trimble-Yanu

Berkeley Art Center is in the midst of developing a new equity plan and implementing institutional transformation. They’ve invited two artists to take part in residencies this coming year as part of a program entitled Holding, asking each of the artists to “facilitate space that challenges traditional, passive gallery exhibition frameworks.” At this event, we’ll be able to discuss the experiments in progress as part of the residency and the transformative work underway for this organization.

All CCA faculty and students are welcome to attend. We request that faculty and students not currently active in the Curatorial Practice Graduate Program register for the program in advance so that we can be sure not to exceed capacity. Please register here.
