Holding Pattern: noun 1. the flight path maintained by an aircraft awaiting permission to land. 2. a state of waiting or suspended activity or progress. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues with no predictable end date, exhibitions, projects, screenings, readings, performances, gatherings, collaborations, etc. are in a holding pattern. Much of the work we do cannot be shared at this moment. It sits waiting for the ever impending yet elusive moment when we can emerge to gather again as we circle the possibilities of an unknown future. Until then, @holding_patterns_cca serves as a waiting room for projects by CCA alumni that have been postponed, canceled, or closed to public view. May they be in good company as they wait to land.
