Event description

Bodies in Space: Touching Stuff, Making Things is a process based investigation into how our innate and embodied understanding of our surroundings can drive our design practice. Our experience of reality is intrinsically linked to our bodies, but we are often too disembodied to perceive these reactions on a daily basis. In an attempt to understand how the physicality of making can be re-incorporated into the design process, two designers will experiment with different body oriented consumer products throughout the week. Their creations (objects and spaces) will be on display throughout the week. On Thursday, they will host a workshop working with participants to engage with the design through touching, feeling and making.
