Use of Service and Eligibility Statement & Guidelines
The Professional Engagement and External Partnerships Office Use of Service and Eligibility Guidelines:
The Professional Engagement and External Partnerships Office serves as a strategic career resource and connection for CCA students and targets career advising and preparation, candidate branding, and career events. Services and use of the Handshake Job Board are available to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students and alumni.
Alumni are those who have consecutively completed two semesters or more at CCA and/or have graduated with a CCA degree. If their CCA log-in credentials are still available, CCAAlums can use them to create a Handshake Job Board Account. If they have issues creating an account, please email careers@cca.edu or sign up for Handshake using a personal email.
- Students who have been dismissed from the College as a result of violations of the Student Code of Conduct, Sexual Misconduct Policy, or Academic Integrity Code and have been notified that they are no longer eligible for access to College resources and services are not eligible to receive Career + Employer Engagement Office support or access online services. This includes but is not limited to - 1:1 Professional Development Advising, Registration or Participation in all Professional Engagement Events-Programs-Fairs, and access to the Handshake Job Board.
- Students who have been Academically Dismissed or Suspended due to a lack of Satisfactory Academic Progress retain limited access to the Professional Engagement Office's support and services. This is especially true for academically dismissed and academically suspended undergraduates and graduate students who would benefit from support in meeting reinstatement conditions.
- Inquiries about use or online access to Career Development Office services are handled on a case-by-case basis. For questions please connect or reach out to Professional Engagement and External Engagement Office at CCApro@cca.edu.
