Career Development Office Use of Service and Eligibility Guidelines:

Career Development Office serves as a strategic career resource and connection for CCA students and targets career advising and preparation, candidate branding, and career events. Services and use of the Handshake Job Board are available to currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate students and alumni.

Alumni are those who have consecutively completed two semesters or more at CCA and/or have graduated with a CCA degree. CCAAlums can use their CCA log-in credentials if still available to create a Handshake Job Board Account. If there are issues creating an account, please email careers@cca.edu or sign-up for Handshake using a personal email.

  • Students who have been Dismissed from the College as a result of violations of the Student Code of Conduct, Sexual Misconduct Policy or Academic Integrity Code and have been notified that they are no longer eligible for access to College resources and services are not eligible to receive Career + Employer Engagement Office support or access online services. This includes but is not limited to - 1:1 Career Advising, Registration or Participation in all Career Events-Programs-Fairs, and access to the Handshake Job Board.
  • Students who have been Academically Dismissed or Suspended due to lack of Satisfactory Academic Progress retain some access to Career Development Office support and services for a limited time, especially academically-dismissed undergraduates and academically-suspended graduate students who would benefit from support in meeting conditions for reinstatement.
  • Inquiries about use or online access to Career Development Office services are handled on a case-by-case basis. For questions please connect or reach out to Career Development Office at careers@cca.edu.
