Career Orienteer badge
The Career Orienteer badge is a micro-credential in the LRC's Badge-based Training for Busy Chimeras program.
Earning this badge indicates you have demonstrated the knowledge, experience, and/or expertise to . . .
- Describe your own, first-hand experience of working with CCA's Career Development Office (CDO) staff and programs to build your skills and pursue your career goals
- Knowledgeably refer students to CDO staff and events for mentoring, training, and/or support--as well as to supplemental sources of specialized, career-related help
- Identify and connect with at least one professional organization that supports people in your own career field
- Help students locate professional organizations relevant to their field and/or career path
- Discuss at least one additional resource (such as a book, article, blog, video, or website) you have found personally valuable for ongoing reflection and preparation about your career--and help other students locate some for themselves
