Sexual Assault Awareness Month

In the month of April, we are recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). 2023's theme is "Drawing Connections: Prevention Demands Equity." We invite folks, institutions, and organizations to change ourselves and rethink how systems can build more racially equitable spaces and structures.

In honor of SAAM, the Office of Student Belonging & Inclusion (OSBI) has placed coloring books for survivors and supporters in 80 Carolina and the Student Lounge in the Main Building. Graphics and further info will be posted around campus in designated posting spaces.

Dates For Ramadan!

Happy Ramadan! Did you know... During Ramadan, Muslims observing the holy month break their fast with "Iftar," which usually features dates. The fruit is an ideal food to eat on an empty stomach. If you are partaking in Ramadan, the Office of Student Belonging & Inclusion (OSBI) will be handing out dates in front of the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) (East 3, 1st floor, Main Building) until April 20. If we are not tabling, pop by in the MRC and ask for some dates!
