Learn More About SAC
The Staff Advisory Committee (SAC) was founded in August 2015, as a way to promote a sense of community across CCA campuses and to help advance certain Human Resources initiatives. SAC events and initiatives primarily focus on employee appreciation, engagement, and advocacy.
SAC is lead by a Core Team of members who provide guidance, oversight and direction to multiple work teams. Currently, we have two active work teams: Staff Appreciation + Wellness and Community Engagement. As needed, SAC will also develop ad hoc task forces to support initiatives tied to staff professional development and policy review.
Interested in Joining SAC?
We are always excited to welcome new members to our team! As a SAC member, you would be expected to actively participate in at least one work team, attend affiliated meetings and also attend the monthly SAC meeting. The average monthly time commitment is about 10 hours per month. We also look to our members to help actively promote SAC initiatives either college-wide or among your own department, to support with planning sessions and events, and to support the SAC member recruitment. Please note that since SAC is a voluntary committee with commitments that take place during work hours, supervisory approval is required to participate.

How Can My Voice be Heard at CCA?
