Tuition covers all art supplies, lab fees, as well as lunch and an afternoon snack. Students are welcome to bring additional snacks and refillable water bottle.

We recommend students do not bring valuable items to the program.

During class time, students are not allowed to use portable music players, personal laptops, tablets, or other electronic devices of any kind. This is to encourage students to be present and engaging with their peers and instructors.

If students have a cell phone, it must be turned off while classes are in session. Students are welcome to use these devices when not in a classroom

No skateboards or scooters are allowed on campus. We do have secure bicycle parking available for students in the YASP program.

Attire Guidelines

We highly recommend students wear closed toed shoes. Please note that clothing may get dirty.

Software Needs for Comics, Film & Photography, Graphic Design

In order to ensure your young artists have the best experience possible, we would like to provide some technical guidelines.

YASP students need access to a valid email account for Comics, Film & Photography & Graphic Design.

To access our full suite of Adobe software, students will need to have an Adobe account that they can log into with a username and password. This will only be used for login purposes, there is no fee involved, and they do not need to purchase any software. Please choose the option that you feel would be best for you and your young artist:

  1. You or your child already has an Adobe Creative Suite account. This login from your personal account can be used at CCA to access the suite of software being used for classes.
  2. You or your child has access to an email account. You can then create a free Adobe account online at www.adobe.com (helpsheet attached). A valid email address is required to verify the account. Some personal information is collected (first name, last name, birth month, birth year). After the account is created and verified, the student will only need access to the Adobe account username (which is the email address used to create the account) and Adobe account password.

If you have any questions about the use of the Adobe account, or are having trouble getting it set up, please reach out to youthprograms@cca.edu and we would be happy to help address any concerns.
