The following message was sent to continuing students on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

Dear Continuing Students,

We’re pleased to share that CCA has signed an additional teach-out agreement with the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. They are offering many of the benefits our other partners are offering, such as a General Education waiver for eligible students, robust transfer credit acceptance, and a streamlined transfer process. SVA is additionally offering two elements that we wanted to call particular attention to:

  • No-cost, on-campus housing for students who enroll full-time, provided through the completion of their degree.
  • Full scholarship matching to ensure that your tuition and fees do not increase upon transfer.
  • Explore full details of the agreement.

You can explore program pathways, key benefits, and next steps for our other partner institutions here:

As a reminder, you must remain enrolled at CCA through Spring 2027 to be eligible for teach-out pathways. If you have not yet registered for Fall 2026, we strongly encourage you to enroll in classes in Workday by May 1 to be considered for the full Legacy Award ($5,000/year for undergraduates, $2,500/year for graduate students; eligibility criteria apply) and the Summer 2026 Access Award. If you have already registered for Summer and/or Fall 2026 courses and you meet eligibility criteria, you have secured your award — no further action is needed.
