Oakland Campus Legacy Committee (2018-2022)
Mission
The Oakland Campus Legacy Committee (OCLC) is made up of faculty, staff, and alumni; its charge is to consider ways in which the college can thoughtfully navigate the closure of the historic Oakland campus and reunification in the new San Francisco campus. Our goal is to recommend projects, publications, events, installations, and/or exhibitions that will:
- Document the history of the Oakland campus through the collection and archiving of oral histories, images, and objects;
- Preserve the unique culture of the Oakland campus both on the future Oakland site and the unified San Francisco campus;
- Activate the Oakland-based CCA community during the remaining years on the historic campus;
- And create space for commemoration and celebration of the legacy of the Oakland campus.
