Internal Job Board & Starting to Work

Last updated on Aug 19, 2019

CCA uses Workday's internal job board to post on-campus student job listings. Students must be registered in Workday prior to accessing job listings.

Once registered, students can access the Workday internal job board to search for jobs and supervisors can view if their job is posted.

Supervisors must wait until orientation week to begin posting jobs for the upcoming academic year. After orientation week, new students receive access to Workday.

Jobs are automatically posted to the Workday internal job board at the time Financial Aid approves the requisition.

Applying to Jobs for Registered Students

Login to Workday and search "Find Student Jobs" for a listing of current postings.

Students interested in specific positions should follow application instructions for each position and submit all required forms as requested through Workday.

Students must use Workday to formally apply to positions. If a student already has a job and is applying for an additional job, they still need to use Workday to formally apply to the job.

If a student is currently in a student position and will continue in the same student position during the academic year, no action is needed.

The online job board also allows students to upload a résumé; however, not all positions may require a résumé. Be sure to determine whether a résumé or cover letter is required.

Please review each job description for specific application instructions. You can also visit Career Development for assistance with improving your résumé or cover letter, though this is not required.

Starting to Work

After you have submitted an application and have been selected for a job, you must complete the I-9 employment verification process prior to starting work. You will receive a task in your Workday inbox to complete this process.

You will need to visit the Human Resources Office on either campus with original documentation. Here is a list of the acceptable documents.

After you have verified your employment, your manager will reach out to you directly to schedule hours for you to start working. You will also receive a notification in Workday letting you know that you are approved to start working. You cannot start working until you have completed the I-9 employment verification process and have received the approval notification in Workday.
