Industrial Design Minor Curriculum + Courses

Furniture Program students can supplement their Furniture curriculum by declaring a minor in Industrial Design. The 6-course minor introduces the discipline of Industrial Design and provides a set of industry specific skills such as digital modeling and workflow.

INDUS 1040: DC1: Design Drawing

INDUS 1120: Model Making & ProtoType

1 course (3 units)

INDUS 2000: ID: Inspiration

1 course (3 units)

INDUS 2320: Investigative Studio

1 course (3 units)

Choose 1 Additional Course: INDUS 2020: DC2 Advanced Design Drawing OR INDUS 2080: DF1: Digital Form

1 course (3 units)

INDUS 3600: Media History: History of Industrial Design (fulfills one H&S Elective / 2000 Level)
