Academic + Studio Coaching Appointments
How to Schedule a Coaching Session
- Book online or in-person for a 60-minute session.
- Appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Students can meet with coaches up to three times per week, but only twice per week with the same coach.
- Back-to-back appointments with the same coach are not allowed.
- Software Coaches have different specialties. Email them beforehand to confirm they can assist with your specific program.
How to Prepare for Your Session
- Identify what you need help with to make the session productive.
- Prepare a list of questions and concerns to guide the discussion.
- Bring any relevant materials: textbooks, syllabus, class notes, assignment handouts, or essay drafts.
- Consider weekly meetings for ongoing skill improvement.
Studio Support Coaching
- Much like academic coaching, studio support coaches are there to answer questions and guide you through processes.
- Coaches cannot do work for you.
- Students must have their orientation for that studio prior to booking a session. A coach cannot do the orientation for you.
- Appointments are still 60 min. long, so plan accordingly.
- Appointments must be for when studio/shop is open. Coaches can not provide access after-hours.
Cancellation Policy
- Arrive on time for your session.
- Cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule.
- Same-day cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) count as a no-show.
