Summary View, Submitting the Self-Evaluation, & Next Steps

Last updated on Jul 30, 2019

The next screen will show your self-evaluation in Summary View, showing each section of the form on a single, scrollable screen for your review.

When you're satisfied with your self-evaluation, click the Submit button. Once it’s sent, you will not be able to view or edit it. The only way to get it back is to contact your manager and ask them to send it back to you. Once your manager approves your self-evaluation it cannot be edited further.

After submitting the self-evaluation, all you need to do is to wait while your manager does their next steps. Once your manager completes the manager evaluation, they will contact you to set up a face-to-face meeting to discuss the performance evaluation. After that meeting, you will have the opportunity to acknowledge the discussion, and enter additional comments about the evaluation process.

Note:
Employees will not see the manager’s acknowledgement (with or without comments) until after the employee submits their acknowledgement.

At this point, the performance evaluation document (that evolved out of your initial self-evaluation) becomes a part of your professional work record. If you want to see a copy, there are several ways to retrieve it.
