Chimera Welcome Week

Last updated on Jan 13, 2023

Chimera Welcome Week is a series of community events created to welcome new and continuing students back to campus with fun activities!

Spring 2023

Spring 2023 Chimera Welcome Week is scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 — Friday, January 13th, 2023.

We are so excited to welcome our new students to campus! We know that folks are excited, anxious, and nervous about what it means for us to be all together in San Francisco as a unified campus, but we are looking forward to being back into the creative community. Whether you are new to CCA or are a returning student, we have created a special welcome experience to help prepare you!

CHIMERA WELCOME WEEK!

"Spring Chimera Days" (1/11/23 - 1/13/23)

  • You will meet and hang out with your fellow classmates, learn where things are on-campus and in the neighborhood, talk to upperclass students, all while having fun together! It's a three-day experience filled with workshop and activities in between designed to help you thrive at CCA.
  • The sessions will consist of:
    • Workshops and info-sessions on course/major requirements, finding an on-campus job, etc.
    • A tour of CCA campus and buildings
    • Information about departments that support CCA students, where they are located, and how to reach out to them
    • Resources to help you succeed throughout your college career

Should I go?

  • Yes! If you are a new student (Freshmen, Transfer, or Graduate) starting this Spring semester, this is for you!
  • If you are a returning student, there are events happening for you to experience as well, such as the Campus Resource Fair!

I'm game, how do I sign up?
