Per CCA policy, all students who are registered at 12 or more units per semester (9 units per term for all graduate students) are charged the insurance and are automatically enrolled in the CCA Aetna Health insurance plan, unless they submit an approved insurance waiver that meet's all of CCA's minimum requirements, by the established deadline. Students who are enrolled part-time, are ineligible for the college's health insurance plan.

Important announcement on eligibility requirements for Fall 2020: Aetna has made an exception to the eligibility requirement for the Fall 2020 semester due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As CCA move classes 100% online for Fall 2020, full-time enrolled students taking classes online will still be eligible for the insurance plan for Fall 2020 unless meet the requirements to waive. The Aetna PPO plan is a U.S nationwide insurance plan, and One Medical membership also have offices U.S nationwide.
