One Medical serves as a primary healthcare provider.
- They accept Aetna Insurance that is included as part of the CCA Student Insurance Plan.
- While One Medical membership is included in the CCA Student Insurance Plan, if you prefer, you are free to choose another healthcare provider that accepts the Aetna insurance plan.
One Medical Membership
Students enrolled in the CCA student insurance plan are also eligible for a One Medical Membership that will expand their healthcare network even further. One Medical provides high-quality, patient-centered primary care services with same-day/next-day appointments and has office locations in the Bay Area and nationwide.
One Medical accepts the CCA Aetna plan as well as many other national insurers. Students also have access to 24/7/365 virtual care by phone, email, and video conference, a mobile app for appointment scheduling and prescription refills, personal health coaching, and referrals to a network of specialists.
A note about Virtual Care:
With the One Medical app, you can choose between answering a questionnaire about your issue, sending a secure message, getting prescriptions renewed, or having a Video Chat with a provider. Video Chats are just what they sound like – real-time video calls with an on-call provider from our virtual medical team, which are great for addressing any urgent or time-sensitive health questions. All these care channels are included in membership at no additional cost.
During regular business hours, you can also book a Remote Visit with your provider. A Remote Visit is a regular, scheduled appointment held over video with your own provider to address any health or wellness topic, just like you would in-office. Remote Visits are handled through insurance just like standard office visits.
