Using Moodle in Your Teaching

Last updated on Aug 24, 2023

Moodle is CCA's official Learning Management System (LMS) and can be accessed at moodle.cca.edu. It is a highly customizable, open-source software used by many colleges and universities to facilitate online learning or to support classroom/studio teaching. We are currently using version 4.0.5. Here you can find how-to documents, video tutorials, FAQs, and how to get more help if you're stuck.

Before the start of each semester, a new starter course is created for every course offered at CCA which includes student enrollments. Instructors can then log in to Moodle (using their CCA credentials) and begin filling out their course page with a variety of digital activities and resources.

The best way to learn how to use Moodle in your teaching is to complete the self-paced, asynchronous course Moodle Foundations.
