Current Students
Students in their first and second years at CCA are required to live on campus.
Benefits of living on campus
- Convenience is key: after a year of remote learning, convenience to campus and academics resources is everything. Living on campus provides you with more time in the studios, libraries, and direct access to other campus resources.
- Succeed Academically: Studies show students who live on campus have a positive and satisfying college experience, earn higher grade point averages, and are more likely to graduate.
- Build Community: live immersed in a community of artists/designers. You may request friends as roommates or meet new artists/designers in your residential community
Health and Safety
Our team of RAs and professional staff prepare to support students in quarantine (when needed) with meal/food/package/mail delivery, and ensure they have the resources and support they need. We will be providing various living and learning programming throughout the year, while also following local health and safety protocols such as face coverings, social distancing, and proper hand-washing.
Assignments
Students may request a roommate of their choice at the time of applying. Unless you are assigned a single occupancy unit type, all assignments are double occupancy.
Access and Disability Services
If you have an access or disability accommodation request please submit your request with the Access and Disability Services office as soon as possible. Starting the intake process early on will help college staff identify the best room type for you.
Options
CCA's newest residence, Founders Hall is a first-fill community. Therefore, it is possible that any applicant might receive a Founders assignment. Blattner Hall (CCA's apartment style community located 3 block's away) is the second priority fill residence. When applying, you may rank you preferences for both location and unit type. Preferences will be prioritized by application date.
